Terms of use
Exo-View (exo-view.com) is run by Daniel Noam Tuby, in Israel (“we”). By using it you agree to these terms; if you do not, please do not use it. How we handle your data is on the privacy page.
The service
Exo-View is a free, interactive atlas of the galaxy, the solar system and the countries of Earth. We may change, pause or end any part of it, including accounts and saved indexes, at any time.
Accounts
- You must be 13 or over to have an account. Where the law sets a higher age for agreeing to these terms on your own, a parent must agree for you.
- An account is for one person. You are responsible for what is done with it, so keep your email and Google account secure.
- You can delete your account at any time (see the privacy page). We may suspend or delete an account that breaks these terms.
Using it fairly
Do not try to get into other people's accounts or into our systems; do not overload or disrupt the site; do not use the sign-in form to send emails to people who did not ask for them, or sign in by automated means; and do not use Exo-View to break the law.
The figures and the maps
- We work to make Exo-View accurate, but we do not guarantee it. Country figures come from the sources named beside them and run one or more years behind; distances and positions in space are measured or worked out, and what is drawn rather than measured is marked as such.
- Rankings and indexes reflect the weights you choose. They are not professional, financial or political advice.
- Borders and country names follow the data sources, with one exception: Exo-View draws Israel whole, and does not list the World Bank's “West Bank and Gaza” separately. Israel's figures remain the World Bank's own.
Content and licences
The site's design, code and text belong to Daniel Noam Tuby. Data from others keeps its own licence, named where it appears: among them World Bank Open Data (CC BY 4.0), Natural Earth (public domain) and the HYG star database (CC BY-SA 4.0). The indexes you save are yours; you allow us to store them and show them to you. Anyone you send a link to an index can see it.
No warranty, and limits on liability
Exo-View is free and provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we give no warranties and are not liable for any loss arising from using the site or relying on it, including the loss of saved indexes. Nothing in these terms limits a liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will say so on the site before it takes effect; using Exo-View after that means you accept it. The date at the top is the last change.
Law and courts
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the competent courts in Israel have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute about them.

השירות
Exo-View הוא אטלס אינטראקטיבי וחינמי של הגלקסיה, מערכת השמש ומדינות כדור הארץ. אנחנו רשאים לשנות, להשהות או להפסיק כל חלק ממנו, כולל חשבונות ומדדים שמורים, בכל עת.
חשבונות
- חשבון מיועד לבני 13 ומעלה. במקומות שבהם החוק קובע גיל גבוה יותר להסכמה עצמאית לתנאים האלה, הורה צריך להסכים בשבילכם.
- חשבון הוא לאדם אחד. אתם אחראים למה שנעשה בו, ולכן שמרו על האימייל ועל חשבון ה־Google שלכם.
- אפשר למחוק את החשבון בכל עת (ראו בעמוד הפרטיות). אנחנו רשאים להשעות או למחוק חשבון שמפר את התנאים האלה.
שימוש הוגן
אל תנסו להיכנס לחשבונות של אחרים או למערכות שלנו; אל תעמיסו על האתר ואל תשבשו אותו; אל תשתמשו בטופס ההתחברות כדי לשלוח מיילים לאנשים שלא ביקשו אותם, ואל תתחברו באמצעים אוטומטיים; ואל תשתמשו ב־Exo-View כדי לעבור על החוק.
הנתונים והמפות
- אנחנו משקיעים כדי ש־Exo-View יהיה מדויק, אבל לא מתחייבים לכך. נתוני המדינות מגיעים מהמקורות שמצוינים לידם ומפגרים בשנה או יותר; מרחקים ומיקומים בחלל נמדדו או חושבו, ומה שמצויר ולא נמדד מסומן ככזה.
- דירוגים ומדדים משקפים את המשקלים שאתם בוחרים. הם אינם ייעוץ מקצועי, פיננסי או פוליטי.
- גבולות ושמות מדינות נקבעים לפי מקורות הנתונים, למעט חריג אחד: Exo-View מציג את ישראל בשלמותה, ואינו מציג בנפרד את „הגדה המערבית ועזה” של הבנק העולמי. הנתונים של ישראל נשארים אלה של הבנק העולמי.
תוכן ורישיונות
העיצוב, הקוד והטקסט של האתר שייכים לדניאל נעם טובי. נתונים של אחרים נשארים ברישיון שלהם, שמצוין במקום שבו הם מופיעים: ביניהם World Bank Open Data (CC BY 4.0), Natural Earth (נחלת הכלל) ומאגר הכוכבים HYG (CC BY-SA 4.0). המדדים שאתם שומרים שייכים לכם; אתם מרשים לנו לשמור אותם ולהציג אותם לכם. כל מי שתשלחו לו קישור למדד יכול לראות אותו.
אין אחריות, והגבלת חבות
Exo-View ניתן בחינם, „כמות שהוא” ו„כפי שהוא זמין”. ככל שהחוק מתיר, איננו נותנים שום אחריות ואיננו חבים בשום נזק שנובע מהשימוש באתר או מהסתמכות עליו, כולל אובדן של מדדים שמורים. דבר בתנאים האלה אינו מגביל חבות שהחוק אינו מתיר להגביל.
שינויים
אנחנו רשאים לעדכן את התנאים האלה. אם השינוי משמעותי, נודיע עליו באתר לפני שייכנס לתוקף; המשך השימוש ב־Exo-View אחרי כן מהווה הסכמה לו. התאריך למעלה הוא תאריך השינוי האחרון.
דין ושיפוט
על התנאים האלה חלים דיני מדינת ישראל, ולבתי המשפט המוסמכים בישראל סמכות שיפוט ייחודית בכל מחלוקת לגביהם.
